Description
A new way to bring the Catholic Faith to young people
Brendan and Erc are just your average interplanetary mailmen trying to find their way in the galaxy. But one day, while piloting cargo through the far reaches of space, they suddenly find themselves on a journey they didn’t expect: a journey to the truth.
A totally new kind of Catholic resource for apologetics and evangelization, The Truth Is Out There combines the visual excitement and quirky humor of graphic novels with solid popular philosophy and theology. The result is a book in which everyone from teens to adults can find accessible answers to questions about God, the soul, true happiness, and much more—and have fun doing it!
And because Brendan and Erc start their journey at the very beginning, readers don’t have to be Catholic—or possess any kind of faith—to appreciate the thoughtful ideas and arguments they’ll encounter. If you just have an open mind (and a sense of adventure) you will come away from these pages with a clearer sense of life’s purpose, and a better understanding of the reasons for believing in God, Jesus, and the Church. And if you’re already a believer, The Truth Is Out There will deepen your knowledge of the Faith and sharpen your skills at defending it.

9-year-old greatly enjoys this comic
It's great having such a wonderful company that put out such incredible books. My little girl absolutely hates reading but after getting this she wants all the books on the site. Only thing I don't like about this is it taught something in about an hour of leisure reading that I had taken a year. The author really gets kids.

Good for adults and youths alike
This is one of those rare graphic novels that appeals to both adults and youths. It is easy to understand and engaging with excellent illustrations and plot, addressing questions about the faith along the way.

Love this book!!!
As a Catholic teenager myself, I don't know of any other book that does such a great job of communicating Catholic Truths to young people. The style is so easy-to-read, humorous and engaging, and the philosophy and theology is very solid and well-articulated. I have given this book as a gift to several of my friends and I hope to continue sharing it with those around me.

The Truth is Out There Trilogy
Purchased this and each following book for my boys and Grandchildren! Outstanding foundational material, basics of philosophy in a medium that's very inviting to young minds! They have helped form my boys ability to respond to erroneous thinking even within their Catholic schoolmates and friends. Can't tell how often they will pick these up to read, when ever they have to do faith readings at home. About to buy more at the sale price.

Great explanation
I especially love how it starts at the beginning asking such questions as why does it make sense that there is God, and an immortal soul? Tough questions explained in a way real people can understand. I bought this book for my teenage son. We went through it together and I learned as much as he did. I passed it on to a friend who is 30 and he learned a lot from it. I bought it again for a friend who is a cradle Catholic but going through a tough time.
