A Daily Defense: 365 Days (plus one) to Becoming a Better Apologist

I'm only about a quarter of the way through this book, but I've really enjoyed it so far. The questions addressed in this book seem very relevant, and I appreciate the logical and academic approach that they are addressed with.

Jimmy Akin does a great job giving succinct answers to a wide array of questions one may have about Catholicism. The book is laid out as having one question a day for 365 (plus one!) days. Each page has a different objection and an answer to that objection. If you just read one page per day you will definitely be a better apologist by the end! There are oftentimes also helpful tips or referrals to further reading if you want to go more in-depth on a question. It's also great to come back to questions if you need to brush up on how to respond to certain objections. This is a great book to better equip yourself to be able to defend our Faith against objections and also to strengthen our own foundations as Catholics.

Love this book! Wonderfully indexed to easily find any topic. Explanations are easy to understand and Scripture references are easy to find.

I’ve been reading this over the year. It’s a good way to get a taste of different ways to respond to common objections against the faith. Jimmy even gives extra sources to explore for subjects that need more explanation.

The idea of taking small bites is really well done in this book. The ability to get a small chunk each day to then let it stew inside helps. This is something that can offer a lot of help in dealing with both helping others but also yourself
