best book ever read, not just for catholics but for everyone. very thorough explanation of the catholic faith. you will not be disapointed.

I passed these out at a couple different ministry meetings and they disappeared quickly. One friend said this book really helped re-center him in our faith. Others said they loved the book so much they've already passed it along. Great resource for people at many points in their walk with The Lord.

I am an RCIA and Adult Confirmation program director and I love this book. We give a copy to every RCIA participant, adult Confirmation candidate, their sponsors, and the parents of candidates under 18. I find it is a great place to start for all who are interested in becoming Catholic, but it also reinforces church teaching with sponsors & parents. It is a relatively easy read in straightforward language, not at all intimidating, and the format (short chapters that all answer a "why") encourages even those who do not consider themselves readers to give it a try. Purchased by the case it makes a very inexpensive welcome gift, which people really seem to appreciate receiving. Thanks for a thoughtful look at our faith that is written for the average person!

This is the best all around book to give to anyone I am a Catechist and am using as a supplement to the 7th grade class

This book is such a critical tool for me. I'm in sales, and I meet with people all the time who I have given this book to. Three categories of people are ripe...first, current Catholics, either to correct or confirm their faith. Second...fallen away Catholics who need to understand what they've left. Lastly...non-Catholics who are open to reading. I just wait to see if there is an interest in discussing faith, and then probe a bit about Catholicism. I then ask, "Do you enjoy reading?" If they say yes, I simply ask if they would read a book about the Catholic faith, and if they say yes, they're a new owner. I thought this was a great apologetics book. I ordered 100 of them to hand out to our Bible study class. Always interested in ways to educate Catholics about their faith. I feel this would be a good book to share with our agnostic and atheistic friends if they would read it. God bless and thanks for all the work Catholic’s answers do.

I keep a case of this book in my car to hand out at all times! 1 Peter 3:15 but in your hearts reverence Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to make a defense to any one who calls you to account for the hope that is in you, yet do it with gentleness and reverence;

I purchased a 20 book set for a class I am leading at my Church for teenagers. This book has been wonderful, thought-provoking, and has led to some wonderful conversations with these high school students. I absolutely recommend this book fora book study, or for personal consumption. It is an easy-to-understand, orthodox lesson in the basic beliefs of the Church, and serves its purpose well, laying the groundwork for the faith for those young and old. I will probably be buying another set so that I will always have a copy on hand to give to friends and family.

Very well written. The first 10 chapters or so are to address Atheistic temptations. The next part clearly , kindly states the case for all that we believe. I have already given several away!
