The apostles and early Christians believed and worshiped in unity—in doctrine and practice following Jesus’ wish that “they may be one” (John 17:21).

But today, Christianity is splintered by the Reformation and its 500-year legacy of division, with Protestant groups divided among themselves and separated from Catholicism by a set of seemingly non-negotiable differences. Traditionally, Catholic apologetics has tried to bridge that separation by using Scripture, history, and logic to help Protestants see the truth of Church teaching.

    Well-organized, clear and engaging set of apologetics comparing what Protestant can agree on with Catholics.

    Easy Read!

    Mr. Beaumont provided a clear outline of the differences and similarities between Protestantism and Catholicism. The insights in this book will show the reader that the gap between our protestant brothers and sisters in Christ isn't as wide as it may seem. Overall the book is easy to read and provides some excellent talking points to go over with protestant friends and family.

    I heard Dr. Beaumont on Catholic Answers Live in July. Absolutely one of the best non-regularly scheduled guests I've ever heard. His style on that show plus his style in the book make him one of the great ones---a real Catholic apologetics heavyweight. Mainlines and Evangelicals may never have a better bridge to Catholic doctrine than With One Accord.
